New routes into teaching for PhD students
Published on 18/12/17
We're delighted to be partnering with Researchers In Schools to offer tailored routes into teaching for people with PhDs.
The Researchers In Schools programme, run by The Brilliant Club, aims to raise educational outcomes for students from disadvantaged backgrounds by bringing outstanding researchers into the classroom.
The programme runs over an initial two-year period with school-based training in our partner schools, and an optional, but highly recommended, third year in which teachers complete a leadership qualification recognised by the wider teaching profession.
PhD graduates wishing to follow the Researchers In Schools route to train with Inspiration Teacher Training in secondary maths, physics, or chemistry should apply for their place via the Researchers In Schools website, where you will also find more information about the programme.
